Please help me!įlip4Mac basically adds Windows Media components to Quicktime so that Quicktime could play. If anyone has any suggestions I would be most grateful for the help, because I'm at the end of my rope. At this point I am very short on possible strategies to combat this. I also tried reinstalling Quicktime (because the error log mentioned Quicktime, although I don't think it's the root cause of my problem) but to no avail.

Could this be a possible cause? If it is, how do I fix it? Removing "Front Row" by the way, didn't help. Prior to this I never used "Front Row" and iTunes worked just fine. After that iTunes failed to work completely. These promptly crashed (they presented a blank black screen and then reverted to desktop). One other thing, just before iTunes started crashing on me (it didn't before) I tried to use Apple's "Front Row" Application to play a few music videos. I'd REALLY rather not have to go down that road.

If THAT doesn't work nothing will! But then I'd lose ALL my work, plus applications that I might not find anymore as they are hidden in niches all over the internet.

If nothing works I can take my Mac OS X disk and reformat my entire hard drive, then do a clean install of Mac OS X complete with iLife. I have only one option left, and it's a radical one. I'm completely stuck, I don't know what to do!

Finally, I've repaired the preferences with Disk Utility, but that STILL doesn't help. I've gone and moved all my preference files to the desktop, still won't start. dmg and from the installation disk that came with my Mac (using Pacifist and force-overriding files). I've uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes, both from a downloaded. Đx92cd5702 CallComponentGetPublicResource + 56ġ7 0x96e987fe cchaMissing + 362ġ8. Every time I try to open iTunes, whether it's from the dock, directly from the Applications folder, or by plugging in my iPhone, I get an error message that says, "The Application 'iTunes' has quit unexpectedly. It seems that iTunes is quitting unexpectedly on me. Hey everyone! I'm not 100% that this is the proper place to put this, but I am getting a little desperate here.
